Sneakers and Things - Cape Kickz
Sneakers and Things is the brainchild of some guys who need no introduction to the sneaker community, Daniel Meyer(@just_like_dan), Keenan Apollis(@keeno_ue), Luke Kotze(@lukekotze) who designed and edit the website and captured in all its glory by none other than local trigger finger Darren Clarke(@dashclarke).
Sneakers and Things is about more than just Sneakers, it’s about everything that encompasses the culture and what drives it. Using coffee meet ups as a platform to discuss what’s happening in our local market, Daniel explains in their launch video that the website and brand in general is all about creating a central platform for all local sneakerheads and culture enthusiasts to find a central point for information pertaining to our local market.
The weekly segments are in its infancy and the team plan to spread the videos out to coincide with launches and any influential occasions in the local scene. The videos also plan to touch on areas of customization, in-depth reviews, unboxings and most importantly all the sickest spots in and around Cape Town to chill and have a smooth cup of java. As part of the discussions, the team bring in local influences and collectors to add to the discussion and have already interviewed two heavy hitters who also need no introduction, Rolo Rozay(@rolo_rozay) and Chris Jack(@chr1sjack).
